We are an Adult only accommodation and cannot accept guest pets either in the accommodation or left in cars. However, for allergy sufferers please note that we do have our own pets at the accommodation and poultry in the grounds. Deposit required: of £30 (per room per night and non-refundable in the event of cancellation) payable by credit or debit card.

Evening meals: are available at £28 per person for a set four course dinner.We are fully licensed and have a wide selection of drinks and wines.

Making your booking: Please mention at the start of your enquiry that you have an Unusual Escapes Voucher. At the time of booking we will require the 9 digit unique code & 3 digit booking code and a £30 deposit (per night) in order to meet our cancellation policy terms which must be paid by credit or debit card. The deposit will be refunded after check-out if no extras are taken with your room (Refer to Sections 6.2 - 6.5 of your Unusual Escapes booklet for additional information). Cancellation or move of date: Loss of deposit in all cases. If cancellation is within 5 days or you fail to show for your reservation - loss of deposit and forfeit of voucher, deposit for any extra nights booked.

Availability: Your voucher entitles you to a 1 night stay in our Standard Double room on a B&B basis and use of the Hot Tub (available to all our guests and cannot be booked for exclusive use opening maybe subject to weather conditions), upgrades are available to our other rooms at an extra charge. Evening meals are available at an additional charge at £28 per person for a set four course dinner (booked at least 48 hours in advance). We are 3.5 miles from the nearest pub and 9 miles from the nearest restaraunt (there are no taxis in the immediate area). We are fully licensed with an extensive wine and drinks list. For insurance purposes we respectfully ask that you do not bring your own food or alcohol into the accommodation.

Friday & Saturday night 1 night stays: A supplement of £15 will be charged on all Saturday nights throughout the year and on Friday nights between 01/03/13 and 1/11/13. No supplement applies when upgrading your room. Extra nights are at our normal rates.

Room Upgrades: are available to our Superior Double room at an additional charge of £35 and the Luxury Super King room at an additional charge of £50 at the weekends. Weekdays £20 for the Superior Double room and £35 for the Luxury Super King room.  

Character farmhouse dating back to 1675 situated in the same idyllic location as Halsteads Barn and with stunning views over the surrounding farmland and out towards the Three Peaks.

The cottage is an ideal base for walking, cycling, families or a group of friends.

Dogs £30 maximum of 2 well behaved and must be kept on a lead when out of the garden area due to the moorland habitat and free to roam sheep and not left in the cottage unattended.

We want you to enjoy your time with us and have time to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside and hospitality of our house. We serve a set four course dinner for £28 per person booked at least 48 hours in advance for the first night of your stay. We do not offer a choice but we will cater (wherever possible) for any dietary requiements, intolerances or pet hates if you let us know at the time of booking. Vegetarian dishes are always available.

Wherever possible we source all our food locally and from local farms but where this is not possible we will always buy british meat and products to support British farmers. If you prefer to eat out our Information Sheet sent with your confirmation details our local recommendations. We are 3.5 miles from the nearest Pub Food and 10 miles from the nearest restaraunts (Taxis are not available locally).

Our Wine List offers a great selection of quality red, white, rose and champagnes selected especially for us by a Bowland Wine Master to compliment the dishes we serve and all our wines represent great value for money. We also have a selection of bottled beers, lagers and tipples.

We are right on NCR69 on Mewith Lane at approximately mile 23 shown on the official route map, between High Bentham and Clapham.

After a hard day in the saddle we appreciate that you just want to relax and have something to eat, a peaceful nights sleep and a hearty breakfast to set you up for your next leg.

Once you arrive you can jump in the outdoor Hot Tub with a glass of what you fancy from our extensive wine and drinks list to rejuvenate those weary muscles, put your feet up on one of the comfy couches  and relax in the lounge or snug and then settle down for some good home cooked food, prepared daily and fresh from the AGA using locally sourced produce.

Breakfast is normally served between 8am - 9am (Mon - Sat) and 8.30am - 9.30am (Sun). If you require an earlier breakfast please let us know at time of booking and we will accommodate you wherever possible. Check-In is available 4pm - 7pm and evening meal is served at 7.30pm.

We know that your trip will take some planning so please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can help you with. We are able to hold rooms for up to 48 hours in order to aid you in finalising your accommodation and timings along the route. A £30 deposit is required to confirm your booking with credit or debit card (non-refundable in the event of cancellation).

We are a 15 minute drive from the start at Ingleton and 20 minute drive from the start at Horton.

Early breakfast or breakfast tray (if required) is available to set you up ready for your challenge.

Our outdoor Hot Tub has stunning views over where you have just been. Sit back and relax in the warm waters easing your muscles with a glass of what you fancy and say "I did that".

Then finish off with a good wholesome evening meal (optional) using local produce to re-charge your batteries.

A good nights sleep in a peaceful location and a power shower should set you up the next day.

Drying facilities are available for wet clothing and shoes.

3 double rooms (sorry we have no twin rooms) all en-suite with power showers, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobes, toiletries.

 We would request that anyone making an enquiry or wishing to make a booking inform us of any special needs or disabilities that they may have in order that we can discuss any personal requirements they may have.

Due to its roots as a livestock barn, there are numerous stairs and steps within the property and there are no guest bedrooms on the groundfloor. The accommodation may therefore not be suitable for people with walking difficulties.

The property is accessed from Mewith Lane by a gravelled track (0.3 miles long) and the car park is a gravelled area. While suitable for most vehicles, if you have a very very low sports car and the weather is bad please check with us when booking. 

We would also kindly ask when enquiring or booking that you let us know of any allergies, food intolerances or pet hates that you may have in order that we can accommodate them in the menu. We have animals on the premises and free range poultry in the grounds.
